Willard Doggett

Willard L. Doggett, 60 of Port Orchard, Washington died on January 7, 2000.  He was born on June 4, 1939 in Wharton, New Jersey and was raised and educated in Daytona Beach, Florida.  Willard married Anita Louise Shook on July 18, 1975 in Port Orchard, Washington.  She preceded him in death in 1999.Mr. Doggett worked at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 28 years, retiring as a Marine Machinist in 1996.  He served in the U.S. Navy from 1957 to 1961 at Fort Meade, Maryland.  He was a member of the Port Orchard Eagles and the Port Orchard VFW.Survivors include son Jason Doggett of Bellevue, Washington; stepsons Everett Bowling of Seattle, Washington and Eric Bowling of Albany, Oregon; step daughters Leonide Martin of Lynnwood, Washington and Lynette Burley of Everett Washington; brothers Richard Doggett of Jacksonville, Florida and David Doggett of Daytona Beach, Florida; sisters Barbara Clark of West Palm Beach Florida and Patty Phipps of Daytona Beach, Florida; grandchhildren Ryein, Brittain, Mitchell, & Alexis Bowling, Renee Martin, & Ty Burley.Funeral Service at 2:00PM on January 11, 2000 at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard.  Inurnment will be at Tahoma National Cemetery.  Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Kitsap Unit, P. O. Box 2383, Bremerton, WA 98310.
