William G. Blocher Born 26 Aug 1939 Grand Rapids, MI to Loren Christianwood Blocher and Anna Mae Sherman. Passed away on 23 Mar 2020. Graduated 1959 from Leilehua High School Wahiawa, Hawaii. Enlisted in the US Navy in 1959 and was stationed on USS Ranger CV-61 1962-63, USS Bon Homme Richard CVA-31 1968-69 and USS Enterprise CVN-65 1979-81.
Retired in 1983 as Senior Chief Hospital Corpsman at Naval Hospital Long Beach, CA. Worked at Naval Hospital Bremerton and retired as CSR Supervisor.
Survived by his wife Emily and Son Troy, Brothers Loren Blocher of WA and Tom Blocher of CA. Aunts Betty Craig of MI, Donna Blocher of MI, Retha Blocher of GA. Nieces Aleda Ann Blocher and Erin William, Step Sister & Brother Kathy Nhaddou, Ronald Cary and several cousins.
Memorial Services will be held at Sunset Lane Cemetery at a later date.
