William J. Boonstoppel of Port Orchard, Washington died in Port Orchard, May 5, 2006 due to natural causes. He was 89. He was born June 11, 1916 in Dordrecht, Holland. William served in the Royal Dutch Army from 1947 - 1950 as a corporal. He worked in the meat industry - slaughter house in Dordrecht, Holland and in Bakersfield, California. William injoyed remodeling homes and gardening. He is survived by sons - John Boonstoppel (Judy) of Bakersfield, California, Roy Boonstoppel (Lori) of Bakersfield, California, Hans Bodeman (Wanda) of Port Orchard, Washington, Louis Hedrich of Port Orchard, Washington; daughter - Ernestine Hedrich of Maui, Hawaii; grandson - Michael Boonstoppel of Bakersfield, California. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at Ridgemont Terrace Convalescent Center (2051 Pottery Ave., Port Orchard, WA 98366).
