William Harry Kalina died October 1, 2003 at Allenmore Hospital in Tacoma, Washington. He was 70.He was born October 4, 1932 in LeMay, Missouri to Frank and Evelyn (Parkerson) Kalina.He graduated from high school.William married Masako (Koba) Kalina July 16, 1957 in Fukuoka, Japan.He was U.S. Navy Retired - a Korean and Vietnam War Veteran.William worked 20 years as a machinist with Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. He retired in 1995.William enjoyed fishing and hunting and Poggie Club of Bremerton.He is survived by his wife, Masako Kalina, of the Port Orchard, Washington family home; son - William Kalina, Jr. of Port Townsend, Washington; daughters - Mary Ann Cook of Kansas City, Missouri and Donna Lee Puckett of Climax Springs, Missouri; 1 grandchild - Amber Kalina.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on October 11, 2003 at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington.Inurnment will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington at 12:30 p.m. on October 14, 2003.
