William Clyle King, 74 of Shelton, died peacefully of heart disease on April 19, 2009 surrounded by his beloved family. He was born on May 30, 1934 in Fort Worth, TX. He was the first of 4 sons born to Virgil and Armenta King. Bill and his family moved to Long Beach, CA when he was a boy and then to Perris, CA. He attended HS there and enlisted in the Navy at age 17. He met the love of his life, Consuella (Connie) Heckman in 1955 and they were married February 3, 1956 in Norwalk, CA. They had 3 children and raised their family in So. CA for 17 years, before relocating to Port Orchard where they lived 33 wonderful years. In 2006 they moved to Shelton, WA and built their dream home. Their marriage of 53 years was one that people dream about, but few are lucky enough to have. Very rarely did you find one without the other. In 1999, after years of work in the Vending Trade and Lumber Sales, he retired to enjoy life with Connie and his family. He loved woodworking, gardening, the Mariners, camping in their fifth wheel, trains, and traveling to his favorite casino's. Most of all he loved being with his family and they loved being with him. Bill is survived by his loving wife Connie; daughter Cindy (Dean) Hammon; sons Bill King Jr. & Douglas King; grandchildren Seann (Lindsey) Hammon and Lindsey Hammon; great-grandchildren Nolan & Addison Hammon; brothers Kenneth (Jeanne) King, Jim (Gloria) King, David (Naomi) King; brother-in-law Michael (Raedelle) Heckman; and numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews. As Heaven has gained a Precious Angel, we have lost a Priceless Man. Our lives forever shattered, our hearts forever broken. Please come and join us in celebrating the life of such an extraordinary man at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard. Visitation from 9:00am until the service time on Saturday.
