William Walton

William A. Walton, age 77, died July 20, 1999 in Port Orchard, WA.  He was born October 20, 1921 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to Tom and Lily Walton.  He was raised in Chicago, Illinois where he graduated from high school in 1941.  He married Evelyn Dunn, June 10, 1942 in Bremerton, WA.  He served in the U.S. Army from 1941 until 1945 and is a World War II Veteran and served in the Pacific fleat.  He also worked for Puget Sound Distributors in Bremerton, WA from 1949-1982. Most recently he was employed as a bus driver for the Federal Way School District where he worked for 6 years until retiring in 1997.  He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars #2669 in Port Orchard, WA.  He is survived by his wife Evelyn Walton of  Port Orchard, WA., daughter Patti Bassen, of Federal Way, WA., grandchildren Dana Belcher, of Port Orchard, WA., Daren Bassen, of Auburn, WA., Dean Bassen, of Federal Way, WA., and 6 great grandchildren.  Private services will be held.
