William Lee Workman

July 10, 1945 — March 6, 2020

William "Bill" Workman (74) of Port Orchard, WA passed away March 6,2020 from a massive stroke after gallbladder surgery. Bill was a radioman in the United States Coast guard, then he went into the apprenticeship program as a ship fitter at PSNS. Bill worked a total of 39 years for the government when he retired in 2004. Bill has always been an avid fisherman and marksman. He was well known and loved by so many at PSNS, the gun range, fishing clubs and more. Bill married is wife Muriel in 1969 after dating for 3 months, they always held hands until she passed away.

He leaves behind his daughter Debora Workman of Port Orchard, brother Dick (Marge) Workman of Silverdale, Sister Jean (Doug) Clark of Tahuya, Sister Dixie (Kerry) Hanson of Bremerton, Sister-in-law Jackie Gilman of Port Orchard and numerous Nieces and Nephews. Bill was proceeded in death by his beloved wife Muriel Workman, parents Robert and Georgia Workman, Sister in laws Margaret Dyer and Beverly Port, Brother in laws Gorden Gilman and Paul Port and Great Niece Piper Lowery.
