Willis James Page died September 14, 2002 in Silverdale, Washington. He was 76.He was born July 11, 1926 in Walla Walla, Washington to Orin Leland and Hilma Hyacinth (Patterson)Page.Willis graduated from Walla Walla High School in Walla Walla, Washington in 1944 and attended Central Washington State College in Ellensburg, Washington.August 7, 1948 he married Mary (Keith) Page at St. Peters Church in Suquamish, Washington.He served in the United States Marine Corp from 1944 - 1947 attaining the rank of Sergeant; and, worked in the U.S. Naval Audit Service for 23 years - retiring in 1986.He enjoyed fast pitch softball, Husky Football, music, history, children and grandchildren.He is survived by his wife Mary (Keith) Page; sons Michael Page of Spokane, Washington and Jim Page of Bremerton, Washington; daughters Susan Page Lary of Bremerton, Washington, Patricia Schmeller of Port Orchard, Washington and Jessica Page of Lopez, Washington; brothers Melvin Page and Thomas Page of Walla Walla, Washington and David Page of Redding, California; sister Marilyn Herres of Pomery, Washington; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Orin Leland Page and Hilma Hyacinth (Patterson) Page, brother Orin Page and daughter Christine Page.Services will be held at Rill Chapel of Port Orchard, Washington Wednesday, September 18, 2002 at 11:00 a.m.; and, interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Bremerton, Washinton.Memorial donations may be made to KCTS - National Public Broadcasting.
