Wilmar "Will" E. Wood, 90 of Southworth, Washington died July 23, 2007 in Port Orchard, Washington. He was born January 10, 1917 in Albany, Oregon to Rufus E. & Agnes L. Wood. He graduated from Oregon City High in Oregon City, Oregon in 1934 and married Rose E. Westlund on May 18, 1946 in Bremerton, Washington. Will served in the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer, retiring in 1961. His 2nd career was as a Data Processor for Boeing Aircraft for 20 years, retiring in 1982. He liked gardening, walking, traveling and enjoyed his family. Will attended South Park Assembly in Port Orchard. Surviving are son Tom of Fort Collins, Colorado; daughters Margaret (Stuart) Eldridge of Selah, Washington, Rebecca (Ken) Tangen of Costa Mesa, California, Barbara Houk of Port Orchard, Paula Wood of Kent, Washington; brother Howard (Ruth) Wood of Turner, Oregon, sister Bobbie (Milton) Gould of Fresno, California; grandchildren Brian (Christina) Wood of San Antonio, Texas, Jennifer Wood of Loveland, Colorado; Stephanie (Ray) Lamoureux of Port Orchard, Adam (Vanessa) Eldridge of Yakima, Washington, Elizabeth Houk of Seattle, Washington, Katrina Tangen of Costa Mesa, California, David (Molly) Houk of Westport, Washington, Amy Eldridge of Yakima, Washington, & Heather Tangen of Costa Mesa, California; great-grandchldren Samantha Hinzmann, Brooke & Madeleine Wood, Ryan & Makenzie Lamoureux, Keala & Keith Eldridge; numerous nieces & nephews. Visitation July 26th from Noon to 5pm and July 27th from 9am to the Memorial Service at 11:00 am at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard. The family wishes to thank the staff at Ridgemont Terrace for their loving care.
