Winnifred Miller

Winnifred Jane Miller, 88 of Belfair, Washington died at Ridgemont Terrace in Port Orchard, Washington on March 30, 2007. She was born on August 10, 1918 in Warren, Manitoba, Canada to Matthew & Susannah (Jones) Nichol. She married Albert Miller in July 1954 and he preceded her in death in 1988. Winnifred co-owned and operated the family farm in Manitoba, retiring in 1966. She enjoyed visiting with friends and was interested in family history, keeping cards letters and pictures from relatives and living in different locations. She played piano & organ, liked birds, enjoyed decorating, was artistic and painted with oils, and was interested in Canadian Politics. She was a member of the Anglican Church in British Columbia, Canada. Surviving are son Ken (Cathy) Miller of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; daughters Eileen (Elmore) Lohmer of Stonewall, Manitoba, Canada and Denise (Gary) McGaughey of Belfair, Washington; sister Ruby Hogg of Stonewall, Manitoba, Canada; grandchildren Cameron, Brian, Laurie, Ken, Lyle, Daryl, Ryan, Alan, Jaclyn, Kyle, Craig, Jamie & Chad; and great-grandchildren Shawn, Chelsey, Grant, Mason & Emma. Graveside service on Thursday, April 5, 2007 at 1:00 pm at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard.
