Zelma Grace Lillian Holmquist died December 29, 2003 at Ridgemont Terrace, Port Orchard, Washington. She was 86. Zelma was born in Castle Rock, Washington June 28, 1917 to Fremont and Alice May (Groat) Derrick. She graduated from high school in Castle Rock, Washington. Zelma worked as a nurses aide for 12 years. She also worked as a retail clerk at Payless Drug Store. She enjoyed gardening and birdwatching. Zelma is survived by son - Melvin Wall of Port Orchard, Washington; daughter - Darlene Brown of Port Orchard, Washington; sister - Marjorie Larson or Orting, Washington; 6 grandchildren (Mark Butler, Dorene Langhorn, Sherry Hopkins, Paul Overton, Tanya Wall); 8 great-grandchildren (Brandi, Tiffany, Mitchell, Mariah & Savannah Butler, Sheryl Hopkins, Michael and Matthew Hopkins-Bauers). Zelma was preceded in death by son - Wayne Price.
